The best way to communicate biophysical, administrative and socio-economic information is through maps. ESP will use GIS to develop basic Watershed Planning and Management Information Systems for targeted areas. The landscape planning approach uses satellite imagery and the agro-ecologic zone mapping concept. This allows integration of environmental sensitivity, farming systems and socio-economic data with particular sections of landscape.
